History of the BELAZ enterprise

The Belarusian Automobile Plant, or BELAZ, is one of the world leaders in the production of quarry dump trucks and other equipment for the mining industry.

The history of the enterprise began in the post-war year of 1946 in Zhodino with the production of peat mining equipment. However, already in 1958 the plant was re-profiled to produce heavy dump trucks, laying the foundation for its future glory.

Over the history of the enterprise, over 130 thousand units of quarry equipment have been produced here. BelAZs are the largest vehicles in the CIS.

World recognition

The BELAZ plant is one of the world's seven leading concerns for the production of quarry equipment, supplying its products to more than 80 countries around the world. The company holds approximately 30% of the world market for extra-large-capacity quarry dump trucks.

Record cars

The plant is famous for its giant dump trucks. The BelAZ-75710 stands out in particular – it is the largest quarry dump truck in the world, listed in the Guinness Book of Records. It is capable of transporting up to 450 tons of cargo, and its dimensions are mind-boggling: about 9.9 m high, 20.6 m long and 8.3 m wide.

Throughout its history, BELAZ has been constantly improving technologies, introducing innovative solutions in the field of mechanical engineering, which ensures the reliability and efficiency of its equipment in the most severe operating conditions. Thus, the plant has developed more than 500 different modifications of equipment for mining, which are capable of operating in various conditions.

On the territory of the plant there is a permanent exhibition area, where real BELAZ quarry dump trucks of different generations are presented, including legendary models with a load capacity of up to 450 tons and even the largest dump truck in the world - BELAZ-75710. Here you can climb onto a quarry dump truck, examine the equipment up close, take photos and appreciate the scale of these industrial giants.

Четкая организация, было хорошо организовано оповещение где и когда встречаемся, вовремя сели в удобный современный автобус, в дороге получили небольшую информацию по объектам, мимо которых проезжали. Сама экскурсия на заводе Белаз отличная, посмотрели музей завода, история, потом конвейер, музейные машины и современные гиганты, потрогали-полазили, сфоткали... Территория завода впечатляет масштабом и ухоженностью. В запланированное время вернулись в Минск. Мы очень довольны)

На любителя. Мальчишкам всех возрастов, конечно, весело было. Особенно покатушки на БелАЗе, лихой водитель на расписном многотоннике нарезал круги в пыли площадки. Расширяет кругозор.

Очень интересная экскурсия. Удобный автобус. Ехали около часа, но не скучали-сопровождающий очень интересно рассказал о всех интересных местах, которые встречались по маршруту. Экскурсовод от Белаза тоже выше всяких похвал, много информации в очень доступной и интересной форме. Никакой толчеи и ожиданий. Рекомендую.

Хорошая экскурсия, в целом все понравилось, но по времени 2 часа на саму экскурсию по заводу это мало. Кстати если покупать экскурсию напрямую на заводе, то будет 4 часа. Но заказать на заводе практически не реально, не дозвониться до них. Красавец на 450т конечно впечатляет, только ради него стоит поехать!! Так же имейте в виду, что на группу из 45 человек дают всего 5 прокатов на Белазе (если не ошибаюсь 90-тонном), так что бронируйте прокат заранее.

Все понравилось. Показали часть производства, дали сфотографироваться около карьерных машин. Экскурсия легкая, не напряжная. Для подростков самое то. Единственный минус было плохо слышно экскурсовода с завода тк плохо работал ее микрофон

Здравствуйте! Заранее запланировали данную экскурсию. По пути в Жодино с интересом слушали экскурсовода Юлию, вспомнили исторические факты и информацию о Республике Беларусь в настоящее время. Экскурсия по заводу, где производят гиганты машиностроения, также была впечатляющей! Понравился и музей, и возможность прикоснуться к таким огромным машинам. Спасибо водителю экскурсионного автобуса и девушкам - экскурсоводам за такое интересное путешествие! Рекомендую!

Перед экскурсией внезапно перенесли время выезда - это было не слишком удобно, но мы все же поехали. Автобус большой, практически полностью заполнен. По пути экскурсовод рассказывала интересные факты о Минске и окрестностях. На самом заводе был другой экскурсовод. Людей много, поэтому было очень сложно услышать и увидеть все. Перед походом в цеха выдали каски и спецовку. В цехе экскурсовода вообще не было слышно - это большой минус этой экскурсии. Но внутри завода другого найти нельзя. Очень понравилось на площадке с машинами, можно было полазить, пофотографировать, мы брали катание заранее. Было интересно, но времени не хватило, чтобы подняться в кабину большого Белаза. Катают на машине меньшей грузоподъемности. В конце экскурсии подарили маленькую машинку. В любом случае, несмотря на какие-то трудности, экскурсия понравилась и оставила хорошие впечатления. Возможно более комфортно ехать на нее не в сезон.
